Rent a car in Milan Central Station

Great value for money. Took one star off because the kiosk at the station was closed "for technical reasons" and we weren't informed in advance to go directly to the garage which is 10min away of foot. In general this rental agency is for careful people who have already experience with car rentals. Don't expect any exceptions at this price. Read the fine print and bring all the documents they ask for. Take photos and videos before and after and be punctual. You will be fine.

After reading several reviews, we were very skeptical. When we arrived at the Milano station, one competitor which is roughly twice the price had a long line but Italycarrent kiosk had nobody there. Since we needed a car right away, we decided to give it a try. The staff were very friendly, the renting process was quick and we got the car right away. The car was mostly new with only 10 thousand km, clean and was especially very economical due to its hybrid features. We also added full insurance from them. Upon returning the car, they noticed a small scratch on the paint, but told us it was fine since we had full insurance. I am not sure if the scratch was there when we booked or it happened during our period with the car. We did not have any incident during our time with the car, but the roads are really tight and the drivers are rather aggressive in Italy, so it might have happened. Therefore, adding full insurance is truly recommended. All in all, I had a positive experience with Italycarrent at the Milano train station.

After being told by another company we needed an international drivers licence (we were told we didn't need one) we were in a bit of a pickle and found this place at the station and they were amazing! We managed to get a car straight away, they were kind and really helpful. Highly recommend using them.

Today I had the best customer service someone could possibly offer. Stefania literally saved us with a last minute hire. She was very helpful, explained everything about the documentation, prices and times of pick up/ drop off. She was very kind and had a lot of patience with us, even looked for the best car considering our budget. I would like to thank her so much for all the help and time she spent with us. I will look for this company every time I come back to Milan!

Fast service from both rental desk and pick up garage. Only drawback is that the garage to pick up the car is about 400m from the station.

No issues with the rental, office is at the Milan central train station where all paperwork was filled. The actual cars are located in a parking garage about 7minutes of walk from the office. Had the full insurance, they charge 100€ deposit for fuel which is returned when you return the car with a full tank of fuel. Easy pickup and return. No complaints in my experience. Also price of the rental was rather decent for the area.

I had an awesome experience with Italy Car Rent! I managed to book a car last minute and pick it up the same day without any issues. The car was good and just what I needed. One of the smoothest rental experiences - and I've had my share. From the moment I talked to the very kind representative Francis, all the way to returning the car, it was perfect. Kind staff, clear instructions on where to pick-up and drop-off the car and a great vehicle. The little damage it had was clearly indicated in the contract. Super happy with this experience and will certainly book again!
