Was a little hunt for the car in the dark. The Italy Car rental spaces aren't well signed. That's the only reason for 4 instead of 5.

Everything was seamless and professional from pickup to return.

I declined the additional insurance and there was absolutely no pressure or hard selling at the desk. On return, the car was inspected fairly, there were no questionable damage charges, and my security deposit was returned without any issues.

After reading so many horror stories about car rentals in Italy, I think it's important to give credit when a company does things properly. I would happily rent from Italy Car Rent FCO again.

Efficient and friendly collection and drop-off. Car in great condition. €900 insurance deposit is a bit rough, especially when some agencies are moving away from that now. Overall very satisfied.

Great experience with this company. Staff were very friendly and the car new and in excellent condition. The only thing that wasn’t clear is that you have to go to the office before going to the garage for pick up. The rest is perfect. Thank you!

I booked with full insurance, and a deposit of оnly one euro.
I recommend them. Аnd if you want to fully enjoy the car, take the Italy Car Zero Pensieri package. The deposit is 1€.

Pretty sure this is one of the best rental
Companies on the island. The car we got was Peugeot 208(booked automatic Corsa) and it was practically brand new. Car check-out and check in was within seconds.
Reading all negative reviews - they seem to be by people without any insurance which is not e great idea when in Sicily and on a vacation. Get the insurance and enjoy the drive.

New clean car, great service with small extra cost you can jump Q by pre register and collect car strait at car park

I recently hired a car from Italy Car Rent in Sardinia and overall had a good experience. The booking process was straightforward, and the car itself was reliable and well suited to our trip.

As expected, there was some encouragement to purchase additional protection products when collecting the vehicle. I had booked through a third-party provider that already included excess insurance, so I chose not to take the extra cover offered. I did, however, take out the breakdown cover directly with Italy Car Rent for additional peace of mind.

The only slight negative was during vehicle collection. The paperwork showed just one area of damage, but when I reached the car, I noticed several marks and scratches that seemed more significant than what had been recorded. When I raised this with the member of staff, she advised that the damage was not considered significant and suggested that I simply take photographs before leaving. While this wasn't ideal, taking photos ensured I had a record of the car's condition.

Despite this, the rental itself went smoothly, and I had no issues during the hire period or on return. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would happily use Italy Car Rent again in the future.

Italy car rent is always my first and only choice in Cagliari. The office is straight outside arrivals hall and cars only a few steps outside the terminal. Never had a problem in more than 20 + rentals in the past few years.

I fully recommend Italy Car Rent (Bari). With option 'zero stress insurance' it is indeed no stress at all, but just pure pleasure.
