I booked online through their website, with the full insurance. Yes, it is quite expensive, but when comparing it to other rentals with their own insurance, it is still the cheapest. I booked an automatic "Opel Corsa" for a period of 25 days. I showed up at 08:15. They only open at 08:30, so I waited and I was first in line. Brought two credit cards just in case anything went wrong. The nice lady at the booth was surprised that I booked through their website with the full insurance, and I think this is why I got pretty good service. Had a problem with one of my cards, but because I was a fully-paying customer it was very quickly resolved. When we went to the parking lot, I was presented with an Opel Mokka, which is a pretty big car. When I asked if they had anything else, I was told that I could choose between the Opel Mokka, a Peguot 208 or a Fiat Panda (the new version). I chose the Fiat Panda, because it fit my size requirement. I got a car in very good condition, 11,000km on the odometer, everything functional. Used the car extensively for 25 days then used the late dropoff return method. I'll report if anything goes wrong, but so far I have had a good experience.

Easy to find at the airport. Not waiting for shuttle busses is a big time saver. The car was a new model Pegeaut 208 Hybrid- powerful but compact hybrid car ideal for Siccily. I had no issues when returning the car, despite not buying insurance with the provider (I had a 3rd party insurance). The price was really good (a bit higher than the rentals with shuttle bus, but you are saving time). The staff were polite and friendly. Would recommend this car rental.

Actually, I was a bit worried about renting from Italy Car Rent because customer reviews were mixed, with both positive and negative comments. However, overall, I was very satisfied with their service. Fast car collection and returning with zero stress insurance. When I returned the car at Malpensa airport, Google Maps, with the car-return address entered, directed me to the entrance of the parking lot, but a sign for rental car returns indicated that I should continue straight ahead, which turned out to be the correct way. Although I eventually found the right entrance, I had to get out of the car and spend several minutes figuring out where to go.

Italy Car Rent to the rescue— not once but twice! We arrived in Pisa and had the wrong dates on our Hertz reservation. Staring down 900€ for a 2-door stick shift, Alessia at ITC came through with a fully automatic 4-door for a fraction of the price. We even had our choice of color. Mwa! On the return, we had 4 minutes to make it to the train station and had just missed the shuttle. But fear not, review reader, for Mateo hopped into action. We leapt back into our rental car and he whisked us off to the train station, with seconds to spare! Grazie Mille, ITC!

We had a positive experience with Italy Car Rent. The car was pretty new (10k km mileage) and in good condition. There were few scratches, but we took some photos of it. Pick-up and drop-off were fast, but it took me some time to find out the way to the rental office
