Rented a car here through DoYouCar. Was a little scared, due to the bad reviews but had a positive experience. Was helped really well and in a friendly manner by Ovidiu. Car was quite new, but pretty dirty which made it hard to spot any damages to the car. Therefore the 4 stars instead of 5.

I live in Italy and always use this company’s service and no any time dissatisfied. Always top, fair price, ofter discounts and very responsive. They freeze some deposit before renting. But if you return the car with full tank it will be reverted immediately after return. Just TOP!!!

I rented my car on a Sunday morning with no line, for a one day rental. It was only $20 on Expedia and paying an extra 22 euro for the full insurance (buy their full insurance there at the counter, not a third party insurance) to not deal with the damage inspections, like everyone else has had issues with, was worth it. I wanted to visit the LDS Rome Temple and go to church out of town, and the taxis would have been WAY more than renting a car for the day. This car company and others have super low rates, and including insurance, they are still less than a lot of other companies, so I would just plan on that to avoid that hassle. Getting to the cars was slightly confusing at first. You go down the sidewalk outside the building numbered 48. Go in and there is an elevator on your right. Take that to the first floor, and you’ll run into all the cars. Go halfway down and you’ll see Italy Car Rent.

I see a lot of bad reviews, but it seems like this is due to damages. It's always important to scrutinize the car before leaving the agency. We got a car with several damages, but we ensured we took pictures of them and the staff were very accepting about it. We had no trouble and the price was great. I'd definitely recommend considering the low price.

Pleasantly surprised – great car rental experience! I was honestly a bit nervous after seeing the bad reviews, but my experience turned out to be completely smooth and hassle-free. I booked through Booking.com, and everything went as expected. Pick up was quick and efficient, the car was okay condition, and the drop off was just as easy. However, you will have to walk to the parking lot to get the car it is around 5-7mins walk from the Termini Station. I'm really glad I gave this place a chance.

I've ordered a car online a few weeks before the pick up (Fiat 500 cabrio), used some promo discount code (shown on their website) + Super kasko plus. I was a bit worried re negative reviews, but still made a choice to book via Italy Car Rent. I came to pick the 10:55 Sunday in the morning. There was no queue, I was picked up straight by their guys. The flow was quick and fast, had no problems or difficulties. Paid a 100 eur deposit, signed docs and done. Car wasn't in the excellent shape, but still in a good condition and clean. So, this is really a deal for its price and quality of service. Drop off was also smooth and quick, 15 sec checkup and you're good to go. Deposit was returned in a few days. Hope everyone can get the same service.
