Rent a car at Venice Airport

10 out of 10, without hesitation!
I liked absolutely everything, starting with the gentleman at the office. He was fantastic: professional, attentive, friendly, and even had a great sense of humor. It was genuinely a pleasure dealing with him. He handled everything quickly, clearly, without any unnecessary complications, and in a very professional manner.
As for the car – I honestly have nothing to criticize. Simply perfect! No damage, no issues, clean and in excellent condition. I was given a Seat Arona, a model I had never driven before, and it was definitely worth the experience. Very agile, responsive to the steering wheel and to every touch of the pedal. I can honestly say that I didn’t just enjoy driving it – there was even a certain aesthetic pleasure in the experience. It’s the kind of car that simply makes driving enjoyable.
Returning the car left me with exactly the same impression. The gentleman who received the car kept me there for... about a minute and a half :) He checked it, took it back quickly and professionally, was very friendly, and wished us a safe journey. That was it. No stress, no wasted time.
This is already my second year using Italy Car Rent, and after my experiences with them, I can definitely recommend the company to others. In fact, I already have: just four days after me, my brother arrived in Italy and, of course, I recommended that he rent his car from them as well.
When you come back to the same company for a second year, it means the first experience was a good one. When you start recommending it to your own family, I think that says even more.

Such a good experiance in June 2026. Really friendly. Just be sensible with excess insurance and take photos ans videos of EVERYTHING. When I checked the car back in, the lady checking the car said she needed to see a photo of a scratch that wasn't on the car report and I showed the image and she was happy.

It is the third time that I book a car with them because they are nice, solution oriented, customer-focused, and offer a great value for your money. In my view, the best rental service at the Venice Airport. They genuinely don't try to sell you insurance or add-on that you don't need but listen to your needs and are always helpful. Could not recommend more!

We experienced no issue. They probably do charge for every minor thing, but for us the delivery and return went without any hassle. The car had quite a lot of tiny issues before, which is probably an advantage. We got the car without washing fluid, otherwise all good! (Fiat panda)

Service was good for me. Got relatively new car with low mileage. Location is inside the airport car park. Top floor Had to pay for child seat more than my rental price😀

Great service and prices through Venice Marco Polo

Given the number of low-score reviews, I was initially hesitant to rent from Italy Car Rent. However, the price difference of almost four times cheaper than a large international rental agency for a like-for-like car convinced me to give it a try. I rented a car for a week, and the entire experience was smooth. The check-out desk was located on the same floor as the major brands, and the process was no different from what you would expect with a big international company. Collection and return were straightforward, with no issues at all. Car was great - we drove in Dolomites and tyres were adequate for snowy roads. I understand that some customers may have had negative experiences, but in my case everything was easy, efficient, and significantly better value for money. I would happily rent from them again.

We rented the car from Venice airport and I must say it was a very smooth pickup and return. Very friendly staff, they were prepared and I got the car in 5 minutes. The car was spotless, not brand new but clean and without problems. At return the place to return was clearly marked and easy to find. The parking garage is a bit narrow but just take it slowly and you be fine. The girl who took care of us at return explained everything very well and we were off in just a few minutes. The rental facility is easy to access , connecting the arrival hall at the airport. I can definitely recommend Italy Car Rent.

I was initially stressing about booking a car with this company after reading all the negative reviews, but I had no problems at all. The car was clean and in great condition. I chose not to pay for extra insurance, and I didn't damage the car during my trip. Dropping the car off was smooth, and I received my full 900 Euro deposit back within 2 hours!
