I had very positive experience with Italy Car Rent at Fiumicino Airport. I booked VW T-Cross for 9 days in June via Booking.com. There was just one customer served before us and it took the desk quite a while to process his car rental, but once I got to the desk everything went smooth and quick. No aggressive selling of insurance. Instead of T-Roc they gave me brand new Nissan Qashqai with just 3500km of mileage. As Qashqai is also bigger than T-Roc then I was very happy with the upgrade. My return flight was early morning when the return office was not open yet. I parked the car and left the key in the keybox. The car review report was in my mailbox by 9AM the same morning and there were no claims of any damages. Just in case I had made a video of the car for proof as well.

Yes, they check the car on return thoroughly and I had a query on one little scratch but it was all fine. After a very negative experience with another rental provider (wheego), this company completely restored my trust in car rentals. The booking was confirmed instantly, and the pickup process at the airport was smooth and efficient. The car provided was brand new!!!! What really stood out was the professionalism of the staff. There were no unnecessary upsells, no pressure, and everything was handled transparently. The return process was equally impressive — quick, straightforward, and without any issues. The deposit amount was reasonable, and the same card that was rejected by another supplier was accepted here without any problems, which clearly shows the difference in approach. Check in and out was smooth. Enjoyed our car- got basic manual, was in good condition. No smells. Had apple CarPlay. Great gas mileage. Took a full video of car when we first received it (including roof) which was good because she did find 2 dent /scratch spots that were not noted on original paperwork, but were on our original video. So no additional damage was noted/no fees charged. All in all a great experience. Another plus was it was far cheaper than other rental companies. Also to note - I did NOT purchase the additional full coverage insurance.

Hello. When I landed at Milan Malpensa Airport, there were queues in front of the offices of world-renowned car rental companies, and they acted negatively, as if they were offering free car rentals. That's when I saw the Italy Car Rent office, and Ricardo, the manager, was sitting alone. We were very pleased with both his positive attitude and the information he provided. He recommended a car (MG) that was more affordable than others and a superior vehicle. I had never tried this company before. We rented for four days and were extremely pleased.
