I rented a car from Italy Car Rent at Cagliari Elmas Airport and overall it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the male staff members were friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. A special mention goes to Mario — if you happen to have him assist you during your rental process, consider yourself lucky! He was attentive, patient, and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. On the other hand, I found the female staff members a bit difficult to deal with. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, which was a shame given how positive the rest of the experience was. Overall, the service quality really depends on who you get. If Mario is around, you're in good hands!

Italy Rent Car also manages Sunny Car bookings. As Sunny Car wasn't able to help, I hope this message helps others to get their keys for their rental cars. The cars are parked in the Parcheggio Stazione S.M.N. at level -4. When returning the cars, make sure you access the train station area from the north (from Viale le Spartaco Lavagnini 21). You will find indications to the S.M.N. Parking. By the way, Italy Car Rent staff is helpfull and friendly, once I knew I need to be with them!

Surprisingly excellent experience. The car was decent. They didnt make up any fake scratches or claims. They even overlooked a new scratch I made on the wheel as there was already one there. Unbeleivable!

Well, I was little bit worried after I read those reviews here, but from my point of view it was very smooth with Italy Car Rent. The woman at desk was really friendly, she exaplained to me everything. I rented Opel Corsa for 4 days, with required deposit 900 eur. Car was in good condition (27 000 km, 1.2 turbo with enough power, it also had wireless Android Auto 👍), car had some damages on bumpers as all cars do in Italy. I returned car without any additional damage, the car inspection was quick and they immediately released my full deposit on credit card (it was available the next day again). I would choose this car rental again if I am traveling to Puglia again.

From beginning to end was a great experience! With any car rental agency for me worth it to get bumper to bumper coverage. Booked early and online for significant savings. Staff was very professional and helpful! Rented a Nissan Juke for 27 days. It was in great condition and GPS was included. Would definitely use them again!
