Rented a T-Roc however ended up getting a 2008 probably due to high demand. Staff are in general friendly and helpful. They do not accept Revolut and if you pay the Italy Zero Stress fee (no deposit) you’ll still pay a 100€ deposit if you use debit card, however it wasn’t an issue since they still returned it anyways. Price wise is ok, they charge a 10€ fee per day for young drivers which is way less compared to other companies such as Sixt. Would recommend as long as you pay for the fully insured and no deposit fee for sure.

Given the number of low-score reviews, I was initially hesitant to rent from Italy Car Rent. However, the price difference of almost four times cheaper than a large international rental agency for a like-for-like car convinced me to give it a try. I rented a car for a week, and the entire experience was smooth. The check-out desk was located on the same floor as the major brands, and the process was no different from what you would expect with a big international company. Collection and return were straightforward, with no issues at all. Car was great - we drove in Dolomites and tyres were adequate for snowy roads. I understand that some customers may have had negative experiences, but in my case everything was easy, efficient, and significantly better value for money. I would happily rent from them again.

My experience with Italcarrent was excellent! The lady at the counter resolved a problem with my credit card and provided excellent service. The car was in perfect condition, and the return was the simplest and fastest I have ever experienced, even compared to established big players.

Ski trip from Venice airport
Venice airport. I arrived at a busy time and there were 5 or 6 other customers waiting. Two members of staff were working at the desk. One was dealing with an anrate customer...and this took up 45 mins. When I got to the desk my previous details were used and I was given the right class of car and was on my way in 25 minutes.The car was clean, in good order and I was on my way
